The project will utilize landscape excavation principles to create a much needed drainage system to prevent water build up in the pastures. Steps will include land surveying, trench digging, pipe laying, rock and sand fill, topsoil fill, grass seeding, and watering. Standing water breeds insects and disease and kills pastures. Allowing a route for the water to feed the pastures and then drain away is absolutely essential to healthy, nutrient rich pastures rescue horses need for grazing.
